While previous production runs were just barely sustainable, this season has brought further cost increases. Although our company explored various avenues for business continuity, considering the current circumstances, we have comprehensively decided to withdraw from the protein business.
Future sales will be limited to existing stock, and there will be no restock. For the cocoa flavor of protein powder, inventory is now very limited. We sincerely apologize to all who have enjoyed our products.
Although we believed we understood the difficulties of handling food products from the beginning, the recent surge in raw material prices was completely unexpected. Our hearts go out to those whose family businesses are suffering from the impact of these rising costs.
While we are withdrawing from the protein market, we are not deterred. We will continue to proactively pursue new ideas and strive to bring a fresh perspective to the climbing industry.
We greatly enjoyed the opportunity, spurred by the surge in home workouts during the COVID-19 pandemic, to educate climbers on often-neglected nutritional management, generate gym buzz, and provide products at events.
