BOOST is full of possibilities, so we didn't provide much information because we wanted each climber to find their own way to use it.
but Recently, I have been receiving many questions about BOOST, especially from overseas users. I thought this would be a good opportunity to summarize how to use BOOST.
Basic method of BOOST:
- Wash your hands before use (if not, use REACT)
- Use BOOST once to try it out or warm up, then wash your hands again.
- Reapplying BOOST = Unleash the power of BOOST
- After this, reapply BOOST every 3-6 tries (without washing your hands, apply BOOST over the chalk)
- If you notice chalk or dirt building up on your hands, wash them and reapply BOOST.
For some people, it works:
- If you find BOOST too dry and difficult to apply, spray REACT onto BOOST to make a paste like liquid chalk and use it as a base layer. If you make it too liquid, the friction effect tends to decrease, but it can be effective on dry rocks and hands.
- Open the bottle of BOOST and leave it, or dry it in a microwave, crush it into powder, and mix it with the chalk you are using (for people with sweaty hands).
Storage Instructions:
- If it becomes too dry and crumbles, spray it with REACT, close the bag, and rub it with your hands to soften it. If you don't have REACT, you can use a few drops of water instead. Be careful not to add too much.
- As mentioned above, people who sweat a lot tend to prefer dry BOOST. In that case, if you leave the BOOST open, it will dry out and you can use it without any problems. If it dries out, it will become hard and difficult to use as a base layer, so it is best to crush it and mix it with chalk.
